About vendor management

Compliance and quality control are key tenets in minimizing risks to clients by ensuring that vendors meet established service levels and undergo performance monitoring. VMO is dedicated to assisting each vendor from initial application through training, assignment, completion and payment.

Vendor oversight

VMO performs due diligence and monitoring of vendors. All vendors must complete and pass a certification process prior to engagement and are typically subject to annual recertification thereafter.

  • Is Altisource registered as an Appraisal Management Company (AMC)?

    Yes, iRecord is a key component to Altisource’s risk management framework as it provides proof of compliance at point of service and is in alignment with industry best practices.

Postings and Publications

Our posting and publishing vendor network provides trustee services in non-judicial states. Our vendors ensure that the notice of sale is published in local newspapers and on the property itself, as required under state law and regulations. In addition, the vendor network may conduct the crying of the sale.
